Description
Automated Lead Validator combines access to desktop data (.xls, .csv, etc) and StrikeIron (http://www.strikeiron.com/) web services to provide quick and powerful sales lead validation.
Lead information collected from web forms and other such automated systems suffer from a few fundamental problems, notably sparseness and data accuracy. On a small scale, these problems may be easily managed by simple human review, however, increasing lead volume demands a more efficient approach.
Input data for this tool may come from an Excel spreadsheet, .csv, or other similar local data file (as might be generated by a web form). Data structure normalization facilities have been included in the tool. Once loaded, the tool provides:
* Email validation: determine whether address are real or not without sending actual emails. (Uses StrikeIron Email Address Validator http://www.strikeiron.com/productdetail.aspx?p=167)
* Phone number validation: determine whether provided phone numbers are land lines, mobiles, or invalid. (Uses StrikeIron Phone Number Enhancement http://www.strikeiron.com/ProductDetail.aspx?p=140)
* Lead distance calculation: sort leads by geographic distance for easy assignment and prioritization. (Uses StrikeIron ZIP Code Distance http://www.strikeiron.com/ProductDetail.aspx?p=131)
All with an easy step-by-step interface. Once the leads have been validated, they may be saved back to an Excel spreadsheet, .csv, or similar. Additional modules are also available for direct upload to Salesforce.com.
