Web Service
Introduction
Provides access to data from a web service to Proto.
Input Menu:
Parameter Connectors → Set Parameter [x]
Sets WSDL parameter value (dynamic connection). These parameters are available in the property panel after inputting a WSDL URL.
Accepted Datatypes:
- Any
Header Connectors → Set [x]
Sets SOAP header value.
Accepted Datatypes:
- Any
Set Username
Sets the username if the WSDL requires http basic authentication.
Accepted Datatypes:
- Text
Set Password
Sets the password if the WSDL requires http basic authentication.
Accepted Datatypes:
- Text
Set Service URL
If you need to specify a URL that is not in your WSDL file, you enter it here.

- Text
Do Trigger Request
Triggers a WSDL request when it receives input
Accepted Datatypes:
- Any
Output Menu:
Get Return Value → Get value for [x]
Gets the return value of a web service request.
Output Datatype:
- Any
