Technical Note
Proto uses a number of technologies included in recent versions of Windows. In order to ensure that your PC is properly configured, Proto Setup may launch some prerequisite installers before configuring Proto itself. This process is fully managed and should not require configuration beyond the usual installer prompts. In some cases a dependency installer may request a restart; Proto Setup will automatically resume once Windows has finished restarting.
Proto must be installed by a user account with Administrator privileges.
Compatibility
Proto is compatible with Windows XP SP1 or higher and Windows 2000 SP3 or higher.
Dependencies
Proto has the following dependencies. These are listed for reference purposes only. Proto Setup automatically checks for and installs all necessary dependencies.
- Microsoft .NET Framework, version 1.1 (download details)
